These changes, plus other factors that place stress on our musculoskeletal system, such as footwear, work, sports, age and weight and overall health status, increases the risk of injury and places stress on other areas of our bodies.

When our body lacks sufficient compensation or your activity level increases, then the higher forces can often cause an injury which results in inflammation and pain.
